Alayna Hofeling

Alayna, is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist. She received her under graduate degree from Texas Women’s University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She received her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Texas Tech Health Science Center in 2010. During graduate school, Alayna was inducted into Pi Theta Epsilon, the Occupational Therapy honors society for those at the top of their class. She did her clinical rotations at Parkland Hospital here in Dallas then went on to work for them under various specialties including neurology, orthopedics, trauma, burns, and even the NICU. She found her passion for hands after working in the burn unit and the outpatient hand clinic. She became a Certified Hand therapist in 2018 but has been working in hands for most of her career. Alayna is a member of the Texas Hand Society. She finds joy in helping people restore function of their hands.  In her free time, Alayna spends time with her husband, daughter and their two dogs. She enjoys outdoor sports and keeping active.
